They all belong to this website and travel with
SameSite=Lax, which stops another page from using them on its own. The session
one (portal_session) is HttpOnly: the page's JavaScript cannot
read it, so a browser flaw cannot carry your session away; the one next to it
(portal_sesion) can be read, which is why it holds nothing but a «1». And when
the site runs over HTTPS they carry the __Host- prefix, which makes the browser
accept them only from this very site.
What is kept in your browser and is not a cookie
None of this is ever sent to the server: it stays in your browser and goes away when you clear the site's data.

The demo window on the front page is the real LGM-OS panel, and while you play with it, it keeps its own preferences there (the panel's language, the wallpaper, the size of the windows). Exactly what it would do on your own NAS. |
Visits
Visits to this website are measured here, with no cookies and no third-party service. What is kept are daily aggregate counts —which pages were viewed, where people arrive from, and whether it is a phone or a computer—, never people's visits. Your IP address is not stored, and if your browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track or the Global Privacy Control signal), nothing is counted at all.
Third parties
No third party sets cookies on this website. What does happen is that some buttons take you elsewhere, and there each site's own rules apply:
- Download goes to GitHub, where the large files live.
- Buy goes to Polar's payment screen, which is who charges you.
- The Discord and Ko-fi links are their own pages.
How to remove them
- Signing out deletes the session cookies straight away.
- Your browser can delete and block them all: it is in its privacy settings, site by site.
Bear in mind what happens if you remove them: you will have to sign in again, and the site will forget the language and the theme you chose. Nothing else: since they are all needed or are your own preferences, there is nothing here to «accept» or to refuse — which is why the notice at the bottom only tells you about them.
