First time doing this? The full guide covers what machine you need, how to write it on Windows, Linux or Mac, and what each installer screen asks you.
The LGM-OS installation image includes free software from Debian under licences such as the GPL. If you want its complete source code, in the exact versions each image contains, ask at info@lgm-os.com: we will send it for no more than the cost of preparing and sending it. This offer is valid to anyone for three years from the last time we distributed that image.
Which free software each image contains and how to download its source code yourself: lgm-os-opensource. The rest of LGM-OS (the panel, LGM Connect and the portal) is proprietary and is not part of that offer.
Download LGM Connect
Your NAS as an app on your computer: the whole panel, your folders, your music and your cameras, wearing the skin of Windows, macOS or Ubuntu.

- Write the image to a USB stick with balenaEtcher or Rufus in DD image mode.

- Open the panel in your browser. Create your administrator account and you are in.
From Linux, with no tools:
sudo dd if=lgm-os-installer.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=4M status=progress conv=fsync
The documentation covers the rest: first boot, first volume and first folders. And the licence, whenever you like.
